The challenge
Javed, a chocolatier in Dubai, envisioned creating a luxury chocolate line inspired by Middle Eastern textures and global flavors. His idea was to combine premium chocolate with kataifi-based fillings, producing elegant desserts that would stand out in Dubai’s competitive gourmet market.
As his brand gained popularity, Javed encountered limitations in producing kataifi fillings with consistent quality and volume. Manual processes slowed production and made it difficult to supply hotels, gift shops, and corporate clients during peak seasons such as Ramadan and festive events.
The Solution
Javed adopted a high-performance kataifi machine from Octofoods to support his chocolate production line. The machine enabled him to prepare fine kataifi strands used as crunchy fillings and decorative elements inside his chocolate bars and pralines.
With stable production in place, Javed introduced several signature collections, including pistachio-kataifi chocolate, rose-flavored chocolate with crispy nests, and premium gift boxes designed for luxury retail outlets. Automation improved speed, reduced waste, and enhanced product uniformity.
